We are developing and rejuvenating large lakes with the support of Coca Cola India Foundation. Indian agriculture economy is depended on small and marginal farmers. Water and soil are the highly depended natural resources by the human being and these resources are depleting due to unsustainable use. Big water bodies, tanks, wells and streams were the major source of water of the nation before independence. After innovation and execution of absorbing groundwater to the agriculture and urban usage, surface water storage structures were neglected. Now we are facing total depletion of ground water in pretty much areas of the nation. Water scarcity of the nation is the burning problem of the nation and government policy of the nation, corporate sector and all developmental programmes are trying to solve this problem. Surface water storage and recharge of ground water is need of the hour to solve the problem.  

MANUVIKASA has developed 32 lakes with the support of Coca Cola Foundation and HDB Financial Services Limited. Now we are rejuvenating 50 lakes with the support of Ajim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives, 06 Lakes from CMS info Tech and 06 lakes from Yes Foundation support.   We are developing soak pits, silt trap in the tanks. Farmers are responsible for management of silt and they are using the silt for agriculture land. Around 40% of the cost of construction shared by the farmers.
