LIVELIHOOD DEVELOPMENT

MANUVIKASA has been actively engaged in livelihood development to empower rural and marginalized communities, particularly small and marginal farmers, women, and tribal populations. The organization provides support through capacity-building programs, skill development training, and access to financial resources. By promoting sustainable agriculture practices, forming self-help groups (SHGs), and facilitating income-generating activities like arecanut cultivation, tailoring, animal husbandry, and small-scale enterprises, MANUVIKASA helps individuals enhance their incomes and achieve financial stability.

In addition, MANUVIKASA promotes access to government schemes, market linkages, and microfinance services, ensuring that communities are not just trained but also connected to opportunities for long-term growth. Special focus is given to women’s economic empowerment through the “Nari Shakti” initiatives, enabling them to take leadership roles in livelihood planning and execution. These efforts contribute not only to poverty reduction but also to the overall development and resilience of rural communities.
